What are Pellevé and Pellefirm Body?
As you age, your collagen production gradually decreases, causing your skin to lose its firmness and become dimpled. Wrinkles and fine lines commonly form and manifest in smile lines, crow’s feet, and other facial creases. Miss Blair offers Pellevé treatment — a noninvasive radiofrequency-based procedure — to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles without needles, surgery, or laser light.
Pellefirm Body also uses radiofrequency technology. It’s a noninvasive cellulite treatment that incorporates heated massage to reduce the appearance of cellulite on your skin.
How do they work?
The Pellevé system employs radiofrequency technology to warm the skin far below its surface. Over time, this jump-starts your body’s natural production of new collagen. One, two, even three months after treatment, your body continues creating new collagen. Since Pellevé activates your body’s natural processes that rebuild collagen after the procedure, a series of treatments provides ideal results.
With Pellefirm Body, we use specialized handpieces and massage heads to administer radio waves that penetrate your skin’s surface. This heated massage promotes movement of fluids that are naturally discharged through your body’s lymphatic system. The treatment temporarily minimizes the appearance of cellulite. A series of treatments are recommended to achieve visible results, with touch-ups about every six months.
How long does treatment take?
To treat an area with the Pellevé system, a session typically takes about 45-60 minutes. With Pellefirm body, the length of treatment sessions varies and depends on the size of the area being treated for cellulite.
Are they right for me?
Both Pellevé and Pellefirm body are ideal for men and women of all skin types. Treatment is gentle on the skin, and there is no downtime after the procedures. You may notice slight redness on your skin, which is caused by the rising temperature during the procedure. This subsides shortly after the treatment ends.
You can come in for a treatment session, and then immediately resume your everyday activities with no discomfort.
